1. Information We Collect
We collect email addresses for order fulfillment and communication. We also collect uploaded images temporarily for portrait generation. When you make a purchase, your name, email, phone number, and billing address are collected to process payment and issue invoices.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your email is used to deliver your portrait and send order updates. Uploaded images are processed by our system and deleted after 24 hours. Payment and billing information is used solely for transaction processing and legal invoicing obligations.
3. Data Retention
Uploaded photos are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Generated portraits are retained for download purposes and may be used for promotional materials as per our terms. Payment records and invoices are retained as required by Turkish tax law (10 years).
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data transfers are encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. Payment information is processed directly by iyzico and is never stored on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use iyzico for payment processing, Cloudflare R2 for file storage, Resend for email delivery, and Printful for print fulfillment. These services have their own privacy policies and process data in accordance with applicable regulations.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies for site functionality (session, authentication) and optional analytics/marketing cookies subject to your consent. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie settings button in the footer.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. You may withdraw your consent for marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. KVKK Compliance
In accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK): • Data Controller: Pet Canvas, operated at create.petcanvas.art • Purpose of Processing: Your personal data (email, name, phone, billing address, uploaded images) is processed for order fulfillment, payment processing, invoicing, and — with your explicit consent — marketing communications. • Legal Basis: Processing is based on contractual necessity (Art. 5/2-c), legal obligation for invoicing (Art. 5/2-ç), and explicit consent for marketing (Art. 5/1). • Data Transfers: Your data may be transferred to third-party service providers (iyzico, Printful, Cloudflare, Resend) located abroad for the purposes stated above, in compliance with Art. 9 of the KVKK. • Your Rights under Art. 11: You have the right to (a) learn whether your data is processed, (b) request information about processing, (c) learn the purpose and whether data is used accordingly, (d) know domestic/international third parties to whom data is transferred, (e) request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, (f) request deletion or destruction of data, (g) request notification of corrections/deletions to third parties, (h) object to automated decisions, and (i) claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing. • How to Exercise Your Rights: Send your requests to kvkk@petcanvas.art with the subject line "KVKK Basvurusu".
